Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA)

Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) contains over 99.99 wt% of Terephthalic acid(TA). PTA is the key raw material to produce polyethene terephthalate (PET). The manufacture of PET fibre, resin, and film leads to goods that we use in our daily lives and enhances our life quality. It can be found in plastic containers for beverages, food and electronics, apparel, home textiles, carpets and industrial fibre products, and audio, video recording tapes, photographic, etc.

With the rapid capacity expansion of China in the last few years, China become the biggest PTA producer all over the world. The total production capacity in China is more than 65 million MT per year.
